Without an instruction manual, I can only guess what the pressure is when using it. I tighten the lid down and put on the valve and wait until steam rushes through it and then turn the burner to a lower setting. The valve doesn't rock at all. It justs blows it's stack if the pressure gets high enough. I would like to know if this is the way it is designed. I haven't tried to pressure fry with it. Any suggestions?
I have one of these that is about 30 years old. I was looking for a new gasket when I came across this page. I don't have a lot to offer but I will offer what I can.
ReplyDeleteI just got one from eBay. No manual. I did a water test and the black button should spin like crazy when it reaches pressure. Then turn it down so it spins every so often.
ReplyDeleteLooking for instructions also, can't find any except for Lorac1357 replied with, thank you
